God has opened doors the past few years for Graystone to financially support as well as staff with volunteers a club called Good News Club in two of our neighboring schools. For the past 3 years we have been at Grayson Elementary every Tuesday. They have incredible teachers and administration who welcomed us and carried much of the logistic load while getting started. This year we were able to add Cooper Elementary School. The most difficult part of starting a club is finding volunteers to be there every week, but our Graystone parents rallied together and formed a team to support this club at Cooper! Thank you to everyone who serves at Grayson and Cooper.
Between the two schools, we have 200 children registered. We’ve been able to share Jesus with hundreds of children each week and we’ve seen lives changed for all eternity. It’s been a blessing to watch volunteers, parents, and teachers love on these children. Last week was our Christmas party and last club of the year. We had lots of fun, plus had the opportunity to invite every child to Graystone Church for our Christmas Eve services. The clubs will resume on January 14th and if you’d like to get involved, we would love to have you! Please contact Brie Neuhart at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get you plugged in.
